Holiday Factory
is a multi-disciplined design and trading company founded in the new start of 2010. It is run by two enthusiastic persons, Kit and Ray. The main idea is to make interesting and useful items come alive without too much concern on technical boundries and knowledge. If we decide to do it, we will do it well, very well. Our varieties of work include stationery gift, traveler items, as well as food book. Our motto is to ‘work harder, rest more’.
Kit is a graphic designer has done many solid and experimental design work in the past ten years. The most successful pieces were the dim sum and sushi books which were featured in over 20 newspapers including New York Times. It was mentioned as a best seller from several book stores including Dymocks, Barnes & Nobles, Chronicle International Cook Book, etc.
Prior to her career, Kit finished her master studies from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She received several awards during her studies, including 100 Design Winners from Step Inside Magazine 2006 in US, Design Excellence Award from the PRINT Annual Review 2005 in US, Design Distinction Award from the ID Student Annual Review 2003 in US, Silver Award from the Nagoya Design Do competition, etc.
Ray is our co-founder which has 101% technical brain and amazingly 102% creative mind. He mainly focus on our web base design product, but recently has deeply involved in few print-base projects which have been received lots of good review.
